settings and preferences gone in Premiere Pro 2020

After the 2020 update, all my settings, such as work area, filters, custom lumertri, luts and any type of customization have disappeared. Synchronization without success because there are no previous synchronizations (obviously the new version will not have recognized those of the old version).
Does anyone know if there is a way to recover previous versions? maybe a way to go back to the settings before updating? Grazie
Fabio

Ciao Ann,
I installed the old 2019 version again, opened an old project with all my preferences, exported the custom effects panel settings locally to my computer and then imported in the 2020 version, problem solved. Thank you for your reply, it made me open my mind, great!

Did you have "Import previous settings and preferences" checked when you updated through the CC app?

I'm an advocate of creating settings from scratch in any new major version anyway to avoid any potential glitches. Eg. Default workspaces can no longer be modified in 2020.

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply,
I used a personal workspace saved as a new setting, now gone, but I can easily do it again if I spend some time.
With the old version I didn't have to "pay attention" when I loaded/downloaded the personal settings, everything worked as per my preferences for years, I don't exclude that with the new version 2020, this type of setting had to be rechecked, which I didn't do with attention. Now I doubt that I have overwritten my old 2019 settings with those default 2020 instead of doing the opposite, if so, isn't there a way to retrieve preferences from the cloud like time machine on apple would do? If it doesn't exist, AMEN! It would be nice if Adobe implements, in future updates, the ability to access previous backups, such as the last 3 or 4.
