Slow renders, Slow opening Export window, Slow realtime previews

Hello all,

So I am on the latest version of all programs, with a new card and updated windows 10 64-bit pro OS.

That being said, I have been and still have severe lag issues.

The render window takes forever to open and the rendering takes close to a minute to start. Then the renders really take long...longer than they should for that card. Less than minute video taking 15+ minutes.

Realtime playback is massively shoppy...even at 1/2 resolution. Granted, there are effects on it...but even so, this is unacceptible for this system. I understand the factors in which Adobe can slow down...and I've tried to work that at.

My OS/programs areon a separate SSD from my projects.

My projects are on an internal SSD.

My cahche is located on an M.2 drive

All have plenty of room.

Also, AE has trouble with opening plugin windows and screens.Slow and lagging.

Hi!
I have same problems even if I have 4 layers without text layer. Its madness to have powerfull PC with such weak soft
I cant work with after, its became worst and worst to work with.
I was worried that i have weak PC rtx 3070 and a lot of memoty, but to see that even you cant work with after effects....madness
I cleaned cash and disk, checked info about optimisation, nothing helped.
Waiting someone who can help or admin

We're sorry about the poor experience. We can get this checked. Please let us know the media specifications (format/codec, frame rate & frame size), the number of audio/video tracks used & the effects applied. Knowing about the project's complexity would help us troubleshoot the issue properly.

its redicilous that secret button in general settings helped me.
I saw that I can hold shift till popup window general is opening, and after i saw SECRET button where I changed settings. Only after it everythings are working....
Is that a cruel joke to hide such settings?
