Slowdown with MacBook Air M2

Hello, I've noticed significant slowdown issues with my MacBook Air M2 when using Adobe Premiere Pro. I've been using Premiere Pro for years with an Intel MacBook Pro, and never experienced any slowdowns. What's going on?

Oh shoot, @Winch M . What's low, the RAM? 8 GB or something? You could try creating proxies for your footage. Would that work? Let us know.
