I want to make a timer for a soccer game, but the timecode only goes to 60 minutes and then adds 1 hour and starts over at 0 again, I need it to go all the way up to 90 minutes, is there any way to do this?

maybe download this, make black alpha, pause where you want ( 45, 90 etc. )
is low res ( 360p ) but you'll be sticking it in the corner of your video so should fit and be legible.

your welcome.
you may have to double check that it really is 45 secs ( 90, etc. ) real time ( who knows what happens with different frame rates ? )

Here's a quick way to make a timer right inside Premiere - you can set it to any time and any font:

Your video is great, but I can't get Google Sheets to respect me... always assumes a 24 hour clock and resets to 0 after 23:59. I feel like I've tried every single option under Format-->Number and nothing seems to work somehow. Driving me crazy! Please advise cause otherwise can't use your method for a full soccer match clock.

In Google Sheets, you want to set your Number Format to 'Custom Date and Time', and use this format:
Minutes (01):Seconds (01)
In the actual cell, type the time with 0 hours, even though this won't display, e.g. 00:23:59.
Cheers,
