Some video files (drone) stutter/hang after exporting.

Good afternoon,

I've been working on creating a video compilation of my trip for months. The recordings consist of camera images (system camera) and a drone. It's one long movie. After rendering and playing the images, everything flows smoothly. However, the problem arises after exporting the movie. Some moving drone images stutter/falter during playback. Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this? The recordings on the normal camera (MP4, 25.00 or 50.00 fps) are just fine and play smoothly. The recordings with the drone are also MP4 files, but 23.98 fps. Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this and tips for the future on how to prevent this? I'm not an expert with Premiere Pro, by the way. Any help is welcome. Thank you in advance.

    You provide no details about sequence settings and export settings in Premiere Pro so one can only guess.

     

    Apart from that, mixing 25 fps, 50 fps and 23.98 fps will cause problems, some video flows fine, some video stutters etc depending on how you set it all up in Premiere Pro. And if you then export to yet another frame rate you will get problems. If you export 50 fps to 23.98 it will look bad. Vice versa, not so big of an issue but it won´t be perfect either.

     

    To avoid it - Avoid mixing frame rates if possible.

    Hello Averdahl, thank you for the response. I understand your explanation. I think the issue is solved. I changed the clips settings of my drone (interpret footage) to 25fps and now most of the issues are gone. But i understand the mixing part. Will to try to shoot the drone in the future in other fps. Thanks again. This topic can be closed.

      I don't know how, but if i look at the certain clip in the editing mode, i see the problem of stuttering is already there... I didn't notice that before. So i think i have to solve the problem already in this mode. This are the settings of a clip with the problem:

       

      And this are the settings of a droneclip without the issue:

       

      I don't see any difference.. Anybody has a clue?
