MXF files not recognized by premiere pro 2017. Why why dear god why can't they be read???

    Not sure. I believe they are 1920x1080 422HQ

    1080i59.98i for broadcast

    Files appear as Red frames only and an error message comes back undefined error. I thought the MXF files would be read natively. Is there a special XD Cam plugin I need to download?

    With so little info no way to tell: should it not read pdw-f700?
