So this is not project-specific. It only happens when I try to switch from workspaces like from Graphics to Editing and back. Happens every 40 seconds, I have timed it.
If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces: Reset a workspace Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels. 1. If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.
If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
Deleted the Media Cache Files, let them rebuild, did one edit, changed workspaces, it worked. Did another edit, saved, then tried to switch back. Premiere crashed. When I reloaded the autosave, the workspace I was trying to switch over to was gone.
Got the outdated driver, that didn't fix it.
Changing the Audio Hardware preference to none seemed to work for the day, and then it went back to crashing.
