Sound Waveform Visual over Still

I want to create a video that has a still image and sound (dialog). I want to key over a sound waveform of the dialog to give the still image some motion.

 

Does Premiere have this ability?

    Thanks for the question. I think I know what you want to do. It is not available in Premiere Pro but is possible in After Effects. In fact, it's a very popular effect in AE.

     

     

    I'm pretty sure you are looking to do the effect you see in many of the "visualizer" effects used on music videos all over YouTube, where the waveform is animating. Is that right? If so, see this tutorial to animate the Audio Spectrum effect (requires After Effects). Feel free to create a feature request to have this effect in Premiere Pro, as well. I hope the advice helps.
