Source and Program window will not play footage at all

This problem is driving me absolutely insane. Whenever I try to work on this project, or any project, the source and program window will not show the footage. I can hear the audio, but the screen doesn't move. The timeline doesnt move. The audio plays but the audio bars are jittery and laggy.  I've selected one clip in my folders but as you can see, the source window only shows one frame from a previous clip. Sometimes its grey. Sometimes its black.

I've tried changeing the renderer, I've tried resetting all the workspaces. I've updated my Nvidea drivers, I've reinstalled previous versions of the program, I've deleted updates to Windows, I've turned off Sync settings, I've check off importing workspaces, I've gone into the folder and change the Users profile to Old_ to reset it. It all helps for about 2 minutes and then the problem starts right back up.

What am I missing?

Have you tried a proxy workflow? 100fps, mp4 with a CPU @ 2.20 GHz will choke with that footage. Try to transcode some files to let´s say QucikTime/GoPro CineForm YUV 10-bit and open a new project and see how that performs. Set the Quality slider to 1. If it works, consider a proxy workflow.

    ***Update! I found the problem!

This was the fix! It was a specific ROG problem. It's the Sonic software that completely screws up Premiere and After Effects.

That explains why this problem pops up all of the sudden when it hadn't before! I deleted all those programs when I bought the laptop. But after a Windows reinstall I hadn't deleted them yet.

What frame rate, resolution, codec and camera used?

I should also state that I do use a second monitor via HDMI cable hooked up to my laptop. A while back After Effects was giving me similar issues if I started it up with a second monitor plugged in. As soon as the program was loaded, I could plug in a second monitor and everything was fine. Unfortunately that doesn't work here either.
