Speed Change doesn't work and will not reset to 100%

So, it does not surprise me at all that when I want to change the speed of a clip to 10,000 perfect Premiere bricks... can't even attempt to play the clip, can't even render the file... just one more feature Adobe offers that doesn't work like countless others.

What is inexcusable however is that I cannot type "100%" back into the speed change dialog box... typing to type the number 1 does not appear... the speed automatically becomes 2.11% and the two zeros I type following the one in one hundred go before the 2, so I get 002.11%.

Adobe... it's time to throw in the towel, you just don't have what it takes.

yeah well you're speeding up a clip that is less than 5 minutes long.

    Why did you bother responding?

Rather a rude response to someone testing this issue out on his own time.

I don't see anywhere you posted that it needed to be over a five minute clip. Not that I see any rational reason that should make a difference.

You posted that it behaves in a specific way, and totally blast the program for being an absolute failure. When a peer user tries what you're saying and it doesn't behave the same you throw in some strange added particular and essentially accuse him of being rude?

I've got a pair of responses  ... that behavior you're getting does not happen on my rig, with any length clip up to 45 minutes. I don't have anything longer to test.

And it's bizarre to see someone get an odd behavior who then absolutely insists that it must be the program in general and everywhere and doesn't stop to think there's at least a possibility there's an issue on his machine.

And being that speeding a clip 10,000 per cent is such a rare thing anyway I do wonder if the post was a bit to the troll side. The attitude fits, but of course that's not proof of anything. So I don't assume it.

I do tend to like confirmation and proof.
