Split a clip using keyboard shortcut. How to?

What seems a simple and oft-used task has proven the most difficult subject to find an answer on (unless you go back to a 2013 version of Premiere).

Is there a keyboard shortcut to make a simple split, splitting one clip into two?

If, "No," What a waste of time to use the the selector tool to locate the place of the desired split, use the mouse to leave the timeline, select a tool, come back to the timeline, then go back to the selection tool. Even if keyboard shortcuts can take me back and forth between the razor and selection tool, it's still a waste; especially since this appears to have been a feature in years past.

Tell me I'm wrong... tell me what the keyboard shortcut is, or how to create one.

Thanks.

Surprised you're having troubles finding it. Ctrl-k  creates a cut right at the CTI location.

Thank you so much. I was using someone else's shortcut mapping, so Ctrl+K wasn't working, and I was seeing search results saying that shortcut wasn't working in updated versions of Premiere (not certain which ones). So, I was looking for a term such as "splice" or "split". Your post let me know the edit in question was simply entitled "edit", and I was able to find it. Thank you, again, Neil.

Some things are named so most native English speakers can find them easily. Some things ... well, engineers will be engineers ...
