I'm trying to update the duration of each of my still images, and the only thing that's working is going clip by clip and dragging them out to the length of time I want. However, that's time-consuming and can't be the fastest way to do that. I've already tried selecting all the images, right-clicking and going to speed/duration and changing it, and that didn't work. Any advice?

Before you load the still images, you have have to go to Edit, Preference and Timeline. In Preferences you can set the Timeline Default Duration.

You can select all images, or as many you need, in the Timeline and press Ctrl+Enter to bring up the Clip Speed/Duration dialog. Click on the blue - under Duration and give it a new value, let´s say 4:00 seconds. Make sure to check Ripple Edit/Shifting Trailing Clips and click OK. If not satisfied, click Ctrl+Z to undo.
So it is possible to change the duration of all still images in one go.
