Hi there,

I don't understand why these artifacts are happening on export. Please see the export settings attached. When I tested a Progressive option on export, the artifacts weren't there. Also see my delivery requirements attached. I'm pulling my hair out over here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hook up an interlaced monitor (if you can) to your computer and play back exported video on that. The artifacts should go away.

Computer monitors are progressive devices so they will show these artifacts on straight edges in motion when viewing interlaced footage. I'll spare you the technical details. HDTVs will usually deinterlace that kind of footage so that it displays without artifacts.

If you need to deliver interlaced footage to your client, then they must have a display capable of handling interlaced footage that eliminates those artifacts.

That's a relief to read this. Thank you.
