Stuck on audio render

Since the forced update, I cannot export projects or render audio. When I attempt to export or render, the Audio Render Icon that used to display the progress of audio rendering does nothing forever. When I attempt to render 2 seconds of a video, the video previews render fast, then it sticks on the audio render.
