the clips section isn't working for me and is off. what should I do? like I can't do anything, the whole section is off and doesn't work. you can't click on it.

To make a sub clip double click on the clip to get it into the Source Monitor. (Usually double click on the clip in the Project Panel.) Set in and out points in the Source Monitor and then go to the top of the interface/Clip/Make Subclip in the menu. Name them and then they should appear in the Project Panel.
