Subtitulos *.srt en Premiere CC 2019

New Here ,
Nov 22, 2018 Nov 22, 2018

Hola Buenas

For anything other than Open Captions, yes, you must enable "Captions" in the Program (or Source) Monitor settings (wrench icon).

But you must also (in the same setting location) selection Caption Settings, and select the correct format (e.g. 608, 708) and subtype (line e.g. 1).

You can use Open Captions to export an .srt, but ONLY selecting it in the Project Panel. To export an .srt from the timeline, it must be some other format such as Closed Caption.

What is your final use of the caption file?

Hey,

if you want to see them directly in the Clip you have to choose open captions.

What is your final use of the caption file? It makes a difference.

Hello Stan Jones

Thank you very much, I did what you said and it worked for me, I set the subtitle view to 704 that I had it for teletext and the subtitles appeared, and they were exported correctly.

Thanks and regards.

Ignacio
