Surface Book 2 and nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 stopped with V24 release

Microsoft has a 2021 driver for nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 which finally resolved my issues with Premiere Pro hardware GPU but with the recent release of V24 I'm back to the "Your system's hardware...." etc etc. Anyone else notice the problem? Not holding my breath for Microsoft to release a compatible driver for Surface Book 2.

Hi @PaukenOz,

Sorry for the issue. Have you tried the latest studio driver for the NVIDIA GPU. Grab that from the NVIDIA website. Check out this discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/video-hardware-discussions/surface-book-2-adobe-premiere-poor-perform... I hope that helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin, I downloaded nVidia Experience and successfully updated the
GTX1050 to the latest game ready drive (all I was offered) dated 14/11/2023.

I still can't get hardware acceleration if I select the High10 profile and
Rec.2100 HLG. The only option is to select High which automatically
switches to Rec.709. The resulting export is super saturated and overblown.

It seems I'm stuck with Software Encoding to get the result I want.
