Syncing Folder Structure with Premiere Pro Project

Dear all,

I remember my university tutor once teaching us to set up a folder structure for every project. The idea was to create a master folder with subfolders and then drag that structure into Premiere Pro. This way, whenever new content is added to those folders, the Premiere Pro project will automatically update with the new files.

At the time, I didn’t use Premiere Pro much, but now that I’m doing more editing, I see how a proper folder structure can save a lot of time. I’ve tried to implement this by creating a folder structure and adding content later, but when I drag the folder into Premiere Pro, any new content I add later doesn’t automatically sync with the project.

I realize this might be a basic question, but is there a way to make Premiere Pro sync new files to the folder I initially dragged in, so I don’t have to manually add them each time?

Thanks for your help!

Karen

There's a great add-on called Watchtower ($40) that automatically syncs project bins with system folders.
