Hi, How to format Samsung T7 Shield SSD connected to Windows (Dell XPS 17 9720) and set it to use Premiere Pro?

The problem:

I use Adobe Premiere Pro on a Dell XPS 17 9720 laptop. I want to use editable files from an external Samsung T7 Shield. Unfortunately, after a while during use, the T7 starting folder window pops up in Windows Explorer and you have to search for the edited folder on the SSD again. And the Premiere Pro window also tells me to find the content elements of the video I'm currently editing. Is there a solution to this so that the SSD is always ready for use and "doesn't reboot" or some setting in Premiere Pro or T7 Shield?
