Target Tracks Not Working, Pasting Clips Into Timeline

When copying a clip from one timeline into another timeline, the target track function does not work. Typically, the clip will be pasted into the new timeline on the same track it occupied in the old timeline.

      This might be due to the change in behavior a version or so back, on copy/paste track operations.

       

      Check the Help for track selection targeting for copy/paste operations. There's now keyboard shortcuts we can use to direct where the "paste" operation goes.

       

      And yea, it's not always clear when/why this happens until you learn what & why the changes were made.

        The issue also occurs when cutting/pasting clips within the same sequence.
