Is it possible that two people edit the same project at time when the project and the media are storage into a NAS in a local network? Thx

Yes, Enric, you can. Check out Neil's great resources. You have to decide first if you are going to collaborate using a Team Project or a Production. If you plan on creating many short videos, like, for an ad agency or social media shorts, I recommend Team Projects. You would choose to use the Productions workflow if it's a film, documentary, or larger project. What kind of video are you planning on working on? What is the NAS you are using, and what are its specifics? I would ensure that the NAS can handle your requirements and is built especially to handle multiple video streams. Let us know your plans, and we can help dial your workflow in.

Thanks,
Kevin

Teams Project is a specialized term in Premiere ... it means a specific type of Project file stored on the Adobe CC cloud.

So I take it you are asking about collaborative work with the project file locally... and that would be the Productions process. I use both for my shop work and with my partner, who's half the world away.

I have Productions on a local drive and Amazon S3 servers in London to serve with the partner. We offer the London stuff we access via LucidLink's incredible service.

I'm including some links with very usable information.

Thanks for these links @R Neil Haugen I thought of asking you a week or so ago, as I'm setting this up now, basically using the Productions Workflow doc; I'll be sure to check out the other links. 🙂

Hi, Enric,

Except for occasional testing use, I never use stand-alone projects ... even in my tiny one-person shop. It would be a ridiculous waste of my time.

You can set up different client/process needs in different folders for clear organizational use. And have folders housing projects with b-roll, audio library, graphics stuff, template sequences, and all sorts of things.

All of the above is immediately useful in any other production project without duplication. It's wondrous.

It works great with my partner Mo in Cape Town, using LucidLInk for virtual connections to our files on Amazon S3 servers in London. I'm in Oregon. Works slick.

Thanks,
Neil
