Text Resolution Problem

Hi !

Can you gently tell me if there is a solution to the blurry text in Premiere Pro 2018 ?

The text is very clear when I write it. However, when I play the movie the text appears extremely pixelated as you can see in the attached picture.

I have no idea why this problem appens.

How can I solve this issue ?

Tips are welcome.

Thanks very much in advance.

Melody.

Hi Bob,

I've simply used the default text tool of premiere.

Are there other ways ?

Which tools are used in the cinema ?

Thanks in advance.

I usually use the Essential Graphics panel or create the text in Photoshop.

In the image you attached you see a setting next to the 'spanner' icon labeled 1/2. This indicates your resolution for that window is set to half resolution. Click it and change it to 'full'.

Dear Steve,

I much appreciate your reply, but so doing the text is only visualized a little less pixelated.

I think that the problem is not connected with a visualization mode.

I don't know if it depends on

- anti-aliasing filtering used by Premiere ?

- the video codecs used by Premiere ?

- maybe Premiere doesn't use vector graphics for text ?

- ?????

Any tip is appreciated.

Thanks very much in advance.
