Text window Titler premiere pro CC windows

The red window in which titles should be entered disapears often in the Windows version of Premiere.

Resizing the programwindow will bring back the red title window.

If the window is not visible you cannot type new text or change exsisting text, nor can you alter text from the graphics templates.

please fix!

In the Windows version you can only import ONE folder at a time, why? In the OSX version you can import all desired/selected folders at once.

(this is with double click in the project window or using import from the file menu.)

Please fix!

Make sure your monitor windows scaling is set to 100% or the recommended scale.

125% is usually the culprit.

Thanks for your info.

The windows is at “fit” all the time. Resizing the windows by making the sequence window larger or smaller makes the red(or blue) text window disappear and reappear (depending on the size).

This is not a normal behavior of a text window. This does not happen on a Mac.

The red/blue box appearing/disappearing as you resize the window is a sign of having Windows advanced scaling set to 125%.

I haven't worked on windows in the recent version of premiere pro. But you can try resetting the preferences of premiere pro as follow -

  • Press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while launching Premiere Pro. You can release the Alt key or Option key when the splash screen appears.
