The effect requires GPU acceleration

Hi,

I have used my computer to edit on premiere for many years. I often use effects like colour correction and have magic bullets installed. All of a sudden none of these effects are working with a large red sign saying - The effect requires GPU acceleration.

I have checked in my project setting and yes Mercury Playback GPU Acceleration (CUDA) is checked.

I have just tried the live chat Adobe support which did not work and so I would really appreciate any possible thoughts.

You most likely need to update your graphicscard driver.

The latest GPU-enabled Magic Bullet Suite 13 plugins require 2GB of VRAM to render HD projects in a stable environment, and 4GB for ≥4k/high resolution imagery. Those numbers will double if you have multiple monitors attached, triple with three monitors, etc.

What are you using for GPU, and what is the driver in use? Have you manually checked with the manufacturer's website to see if there's a newer driver available?
