This effect requires GPU acceleration error!

Hello, I have a mac book 13 inch 2019. I just installed adobe legitamtely in April of 2020. I am using premiere pro with project settings to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Metal. I was using the "immersive video" video transitions. At first, it worked perfectly fine! I saw the effects being properly used when I played back in the preview. Everything was great. Then, I don't know what happened, but towards the end of finishing and exporting, suddenly the transitions did not work and a red band across the screen appears that says "this effect requires GPU acceleration" everytime the transition was supposed to appear. Please help!
