Question

Time key frames not appearing one one clip wierdly!

I'm pulling my hair out (and I already don't have enough of it) trying to get time remapping speed keyframes to work. I think it's a bug rather than me. See screenshot - the 100.00% isn't in blue and can't be changed on Effect Controls. Instead I have to change it down in the sequence window. First clip, fine, no problem. Second clip I'll pop a time keyframe on there but it doesn't appear on the timeline white line (with the two halves that can be pulled apart to create a gradient) like on the previous clip, and so I can't edit the gradient to ease in/out - and if I drag up/down that white line, it just changes the opacity - goodness knows why! (I haven't added any kind of opacity effects or keyframe to the clip as you can see from screenshot)

Anyone with any clue what's going on, would much appreciate it - it seems to have become impossible to speak with an Adobe employee  in over 10yrs.

Hi @This is not a test - You need to select the clip in your timeline, then right click and navigate to the bottom Show Clip Keyframes > Time Remapping > Speed

Thanks @jamieclarke - and any idea why I can't change the time remapping speed in the Effect Controls panel on the left-hand side in the screenshot (in white instead of blue)?

Hi @This is not a test - If I’m understanding correctly, to enable the Effect Controls panel you’ll need to select the clip in the timeline. Once a clip is selected, the Effect Controls panel becomes active for that clip.
