Time Remapping Custom Presets

Created this speed ramp transition, where at the end/beginning of the clip, the speed increases. Also put a directional blur on it as the speed ramps. Now when I try to create a custom preset of this, the time remapping part of it won't work properly. Even the blur doesn't work properly every time. It sometimes deposits the key frames for the time remapping but if it does, they're infinitely close together and don't work how they should and the same goes for the blur. Tried this with the same preset I made on multiple clips to find these results, remade the presets using different clips and still got the same result. Why is this?

Correct answer Ann Bens

Do the timeremapping, nest, then add the blur or v.v.

HI BLKKK,

Why is this?

Because of the render order pipeline. Certain effects take precedence over others. Fix (reverse this) via nesting.

Thanks,
Kevin

Right so do you mean nest the clip I'm applying the custom preset to? Because that didn't work. How exactly do I do it?
