Timeline is locked - 2017 Version of Premier

Since updating to the 2017 version of Premier in my Cloud subscription, I cannot add, edit, move or remove elements from the timeline in any of my projects (projects that worked perfectly with the previous version).  I'm using a 2012 Macbook Pro with 8 GB of ram and plenty of drive scratch space.  Is there a Timeline Lock Featuring that I am not seeing?  Please help, I'm at a stand-still until I can get this resolved.

Thanks,

Keith M. Roberts

I have the same thing on an urgent project. Was this resolved please? I have tried what Ann suggests. I get a little lock symbol on ANY item on the timeline. I have nothing locked! Happens with a totally new project as well.

    Hi Ann,

Huge thanks for your very swift reply.
I managed to update to Premiere 11.1.1(15) which thankfully solved the issue. Fingers crossed.

    Many thanks,

    Ged

There is no such thing as timeline lock.

Make new project and import an 'old' project into this new one.

    See if that will help.
