Timeline panel needs reset every time I open Premiere

I use dual monitors and like to drag the timeline panel to one window to view it full screen, leaving the other panels on my other monitor. Lately when I open a project the timeline panel will not work (won't play, can't add clips, etc) until I close the timeline panel and reopen it, or dock the panel back on my other monitor and then drag it back (so if I have multiple sequences open I have to do them one by one). Relatively minor bug but it gets annoying since it happens every time I close and reopen a project throughout the day.

Hi Michael Rothermel,

Welcome to the community.

Can you try creating a new workspace with your preferred settings and see if you still see the issue? If so, try clearing the Premiere Pro preferences.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu
