Timelines not saved

When working with two open timelines (pancake-editing) and closing the project while saving, the source-timeline is not saved and you have to open it manually. Is it possible to somehow configure the program so that it saves and loads the source timeline when opening the project too?

I read your thread again and tested it and it has nothing to do with the workspace as I suggested on the fly.

Yes the timeline (source monitor) is empty on opening the project. It did not load the sequence from the souce monitor.

The source monitor itself is always empty, has no reference to clips or sequences on opening a project hence the timeline is empty also.

saa4, Help clarify this thread. It's not a saving issue, it's a workspace issue. Your timeline is not opening; but it has nothing to do with saving which refers to the project itself, cuts, clips, etc. You want your secondary / source sequence also open, but for now it just has a blank timeline space. This thread is named incorrectly.

Thanks capitan but maybe we are solving this wrong question? I described my problem in this thread completely i think... Just read the whole thread???

yw sailor, when you say you 'I have load it manually every time' you mean you get it from the project and open it in the timeline window you want? Or are you reloading all the individual clips into it again.

I don't think I fully understand what you're asking. Is your 2nd timeline part of another project? Or are both timelines in one project? Also, do you switch between multiple worspaces? Might need a little more elaboration.
