Title issue

Hey family.

I've been experiencing some kind of bug with the Premiere Pro CC title tool. In the timeline, when I park the playhead marker on a title and double-click on it to open the title tool, instead of the title tool coming up, only the Legacy Title Styles window appears (the styles usually shows up at the bottom of the title tool window). I have to close and double-click on the title in the timeline about 10 times before I actually get the title tool. Also, before the Legacy Title Styles appears, the title tool will actually flash on the screen for a split second. This has only been happening the past two days, but is becoming increasingly annoying.

Also, is there a way to save the title window as a preset, so that it opens the same way every time?

Thanks.

If you're on the more recent 2017 release, the way I've found to work with titles is to set up 2 custom workspaces ... one for the Legacy titler, the other for the EGP

You need to get the Graphics workspace. FAQ: I don't see the Graphics Workspace, how can I use it?

Then create a new one for Legacy Titles.

That's how I'd do it.

I would not combine the spaces, the EGP was meant to be fully expanded on the right side, like Lumetri Color.

Thanks,
Kevin

Took a few minutes of futzing, but now I get exactly what I need quickly by simply clicking on the workspace bar at the top of the UI.
