Title Text Stroke with Rounded Corners

Hi, apologies if this has been answered before but I couldn't find an answer already.

In Premier Pro, how do you give the stroke on text rounded corners? I've made a title with a stroke and it has horrible spikes at the stroke joins; usually I solve this by giving the stroke rounded corners/joins but I can't find where to edit the stroke joins.

Thanks!

Correct answer Ann Bens

Only appears on some fonts, caused by their shape. This happens in other programmes too; usually I rectify it by giving the stroke rounded corners.

In Premiere you cannot adjust the corners.

Premiere can be a bit picky when it comes to fonts.

Instead make the text in PS with this particular font.

Post screenshot of the text and the parameters.

Can't see any controls for stroke joins in the Effects or Essential Graphics panels, I want to get rid of the spikes:

That's a shame - in the old title panel, text stroke corners were automatically rounded so it didn't have this problem. It's still available in the Legacy Titler but I was trying to start using the new feature!
