Tool Bar Icons in Time Line Panel

In the tool bar there are various icons some of which have a little triangle in the bottom right hand corner which I believe means there are fly out menus. How can I access those? I have right and left clicked on it and nothing. What am I doing wrong?

It's left click and hold for a second or so and the other tools fly-out, like in Photoshop

Thanks for the response. I have tried that and it does not work on any of those triangles for all icons. Is there a setting some where that controls that?

Legend

Left Click on the tool selects that tool.

Left Click on the triangle shows more tools.
