Track Matte Key only works in 1920x1080 sequence. And Doesn't work If I chose other resolution. Any idea how to fix this?

Correct answer Ann Bens

I just sent the premire pro project.

When using track matte, everything need to be at 100% scaling and in centered.

Best is to nest footage and add track matte to the nest. then you can scale the footage inside the nest.

Ok, let me explain to you what I do step by step. I'll show you that everything works fine when the sequence is 1920x1080.

Let's say that I want to take the scoreboard in the upper left corner -inside the red square- As you see in Pic 01,  and put it in the center of the video.

So, what i would do, is that i would copy the video and put the copy on a higher layer. and then use the rectangle tool to make a square and cover the scoreboard with the square.

Next, I put the Track Matte Key on the video in layer 2. And t\in the Matt option I put Video 3. and then I drag the score board and put it in the center. Everything is working properly now as it should.

Now , with all the same set up, i'll just change the sequence from 1920x1080 to 1080x1920: The scoreboard is now completely gone. I tried to drag it in any possible direction, but to no avail.
