Hello.

I would like to know because in this new version how do I transcribe a sequence? How it used to be done...

I have a raw file of 2 hours in which I edited a reels of 1 minute and 20, but to be able to apply subtitles do I need to transcribe the complete raw file? Where is the option to transcribe only the cut part that is in sequence?

Thank you for your feedback!

To create a transcription that only covers the edited area, you can choose the "..." overflow menu on the top and select "Create static transcription". This transcription will not update with the timeline as the one based on the clip transcriptions, but can be useful for saving time on complex and already completed timelines like yours.

Adding on to this thread... is there a transcription progress bar?

I think there are times when I assume the transcription feature is not working because I can't pull up a transcript and I can't "transcribe" new dialog. But in reality, if dialog is being transcribed in the background, it grey's out the transcribe/re-transcribe buttons options and without a progress bar it seems like nothing is working.

Yes. There is a Progress Panel and a Progress Dashboard. See my post here:
