Transcript correction is broken

Nearly every time I correct the auto transcript text, by double clicking the relevant clip's text, and then click out of the correction space, in order to play the clip, the word I have just corrected disappears altogether... it drives me insane! If the first word of the line is corrected, it NEVER keeps it the first time... it's gone upon clicking out of that text box. And often in other places (especially the end of a transcript text box, almost without fail)... it requires repeating the corrections multiple times until they 'stick'. There doesn't seem to be any reason for this broken behaviour. Any suggestions? Thanks

Example attached... first word, if corrected, is NEVER saved upon closing the open correction text box

Still playing with this. I do not get your results. I am entering edit mode using your double click or simply hitting the Enter key. But when I make a change to the first word (I think any word), and exit edit mode (using a click outside the box or the escape key), it reverts to the unedited text, then shows the corrected text. If processing is slow, this could appear to be unchanged.

@Kerstin Ebert @alexander-riss Thoughts?

Thank you so much for trying to help, Stan! I really aprpeciate it. I did try waiting to see if it finally keeps the correction, but alas, no luck. Who knows what is going on... using a Mac Studio with 64gb RAM, so should be handling 4k footage... Ah well... maybe an upate will fix it. Thanks again! God bless you, Warwick

Hi Warwick,

sorry to hear this isn't working for you. I can't reproduce the issue you're seeing, everything works fine on my end. It would be great if you could share a screen recording so I can see exactly what is happening (just want to make sure I'm using the same steps like you).

Thanks,

Kerstin
