LG Sabrina

Haunzz,

What version of PR are you using?

Is the transcript now captions in PR?

A screenshot of your timeline with the captions would help.

Let us know, and we'll help from there.

Hey Stan thanks a lot. Here is the screenshot. I alread got the text into youtube now, but I am not sure if it is correct... In the subtitel there is too much information (such as "speaker1 and the timecode). Also screenshot attached. Many THX

Thanks; that is very helpful.

You have exported the PR "Transcript," and it is not in a form that Youtube (or any other service) can use.

In the Text Panel -> Transcript Tab (that you show in your screenshot), click on the "CC" icon (Create Captions). Accept the defaults which should be Subtitle type. You will now see a subtitle track in your sequence, and it will probably switch you to the Captions tab in the Text Panel.

You can edit the Captions various ways, but for now, let's just get a file exported that you can use. In the Text Panel -> Captions tab, click on the 3 dots in the upper right. Pick Export SRT. Upload that to Youtube as subtitles, and let's see what  you have.
