Trim Assist Disappears

I dont really know what you call this but Pr has a feature that assists you to cut footage on the timeline as it aligns with the other footages on the timeline. I have been facing this issue where that assisting thing disappears and I cant use it again unless I open that project into a new project file. Yesterday I created 13 new project files for this. Have been facing this for a long time but it was too severe yesterday. Is there a way to turn it back on or any other alternative than repeatedly creating new project files?

I would appreciate some help with this as I use Pr on a daily basis and this is quite annoying for me.
