Trim/cut clips in timeline in and out points reset

I have an editor who works on my projects and ever since he got a Mac (I'm also on a Mac), he'll send me the project file and some video and some audio clips have lost their in and out points and default to the start of the file. (See below the audio track starts from 00:00 five times!) This is the second project it's happened and my editor has to duplicate the video/audio file, rename it something else, and manually add in the clips again.
