Trouble Saving Premiere Pro Projects

The way it saves files is disgusting?? I save to folder but it creates these untitled file projects that make eveything so confusing, I lost an imprtant project... piece of crap app don't know what it's doing to my projects, what trash software and we have to deal with it because they all suck and you guys don't know how to code or program anything correctly. It's a shame that no one can program worth a damn and we have to pay for it,

I just lost a very important project. I kept saving but all it took was to accidentally open another file then when I tried to undo nothing happened, tried to close and re-open project, project is missing all my videos I had just edited. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. I Don't care what the solution is. THESE THINGS ARE SO FRUSTRATING. Also I open anpther project that was ok now files are missing. Not much I can do but scream. We artist are at the mercy of your programming and it's not helpful the way things work sometimes. I create a folder and name my project but it sill leaves behind and untitled file???? whu????? it keeps asking if I want to replace. SO CONFUSING. PLEASE MAKE THIS EASIER.

I got your note. I understand the frustration. Sorry. This is a user-to-user forum, which is used only by editors like yourself and support staff. I gave you the link to give feedback to the team. Feel free to do so there.

 

I'm sure the projects are on your hard drive somewhere. You can do a search for .pproj files on your hard drive. If that does not surface missing project files, please contact assisted support directly to help you find a solution to his problem. The chat pod is in the lower-right corner of the screen there. Ask for the “video queue” to reach our digital video specialists. They should be open til 7PM PST. I hope they can help you. Let us know what they say so that the community can stay informed and help others having trouble with the same situation. Sorry for the frustration.

Um ... when you start a project, normally, the first thing is to set a Name, and then select a Location.

 

Top upper left of the New Project dialog.
