Trying to install premier pro on Mac - literally nothing happens

I signed up for free trial of premier pro. 

When I try to install it, it opens up a page that says 'The Creative Cloud App will open and install premier pro' - and yet nothing happens. No creative cloud app opens, no install begins.

I have tried to find a place where I can manually install EITHER the creative cloud app OR premier pro, but the website just takes me round and round and circles. 

I have rebooted twice. I'm not sure what else I can do - as I'm not even getting any kind of error messages. 

Please help!
