Unable to load images

Hi,

Up until now, I've had no problems with premiere pro 22.3.1. On starting a new project I cannot load images, clips etc into the project window without PP freezing up. I can delete the images and then PP magically unlocks again. I've tried resetting the program completely, removing the cache etc. No joy!

You can see in the screenshot pp1 what happens when an image is loaded the search panel window changes colour and freezes the program. Remove the image and it clears!

No idea how to fix this, any help would be very much appreciated.

Sorry about the trouble. Can you let us know your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)? Also, what's the source of the media files?

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor 3.00 GHz

Installed RAM 32g

GPU: 1080 Nvidia

This has literally just started today, been sitting twiddling my thumbs most of it!

Both Nvidia drivers and PP are the latest versions.
