Uniform scale and position changes without me doing anything

I'm working in a UHD sequence and some of the elements I am using are vertical videos.  When I opened the project yesterday afternoon, a lot of the vertical videos are all out of sorts.  The position in frame is wrong or clips are scaled wrong and stretched or some combo of both.    When I match back to the bin, the scale problem is there as well in the source.  The clips are fine on the finder level.  I tried opening the project on another computer and the problem is there as well.  Nothing has been changed.  I've tried going to back to auto save versions and the problem is there as well.  I've attached some screen shots to show what's going on.  This is supposed to go to color tomorrow so I really need to sort this out ASAP.

I'm using Premiere 2024, Mac OS SOnoma and an M2 Mac Studio

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
