Unintentionally exporting as VR .mp4?

Hi,

I'm relatively familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, but new to this community. I'm stuck on something rather infuriating. I'm trying to help somebody create a very simple video out of a few audio clips, video clips, and still pictures. When I've done this in the past with my own files, everything always goes just fine.

However, whenever I try to export this project into .mp4 format (H.264) (Youtube 1080p HD) (Windows), the exported file is ALWAYS in VR format. No, I didn't touch any of the settings. Everything is at the default settings, as if a fresh install. But yeah, when the video plays, it looks like I'm stuck inside of a tube of inside-out wrapping paper...

I've done a bit of research and found that all of the still frames I was given had 3 VR properties tied to them. I don't know how to get rid of those properties, so I just deleted the files from the timeline for now. None of the other files have these VR properties. However, still, when I export the video it comes out as VR.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Correct answer excited_Genie16B8

1. In the Sequence Settings, make sure VR Properties is set to None.

2. At the bottom of the Video tab of the Export Settings dialog, there is a Video is VR checkbox.  Turn that off.

Thank You!

I followed both of those steps, and the video exported the way I wanted it to

This setting should not automatically turn on. It's a bug. It's still an issue in 2023.
