Unwanted higher pitch in audio and gitters and jumps in video

Hey,

I think ever since I have connected an audio interface (Motu M4) to my PC I have audio and video problems in Premiere Pro. There are jumps and gitters in the video and sometimes the playback is in a higher pitch as if every character used helium ...Restarting the programme only helps sometimes because this problem keeps on coming back. Sometimes the playback is even faster and and at other times there is no sound at all. What the hack is going on here?

This often is because one device is using 44.1kHz and an othe 48kHz. (I had the same issue with my Tascam audio interface) Make sure all devices use the same audio sample rate. Normally 48 kHz in a professional setup.

Did you go to Preferences\Audio Hardware? Try those settings first.

Assuming that you have the latest drivers for your audio interface, try cleaning the media cache.
