Question

Video clip issues, split clip with green bar

I am trying to work on a video but the clips are being divided into 3 sections. 2 panels on the top, one with normal color the other the contrasting color. The 3rd section is horizontal across the bottom of the clip and is green. I have put multiple clips into premiere and they all do the same thing. I have never had this problem before and am lost as to how to fix it. I have googled it trying to find a solution but nothing seems to work. I am new to premiere so any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the image below I had recorded using a green back drop to put the clip over top of another one.

Green usually means gpu issue.

Could run the clip through Handbrake and reimport.

First, you need to give us some basic information.   Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs.  And your source properties.   Use a program called media info to get this info.

do the clips display properly in the source monitor?  Are all your clips from the same source?

They look the same as the picture I attached in the source monitor. All the clips where recorded using Streamlabs OBS. The clips play normally in Windows Media Player.

I downloaded the mediainfo but not sure what I am looking at.

I am running Premiere Pro 2020 14.0.4, and the clip is a MP4.

My computer specs are:

Windows 10

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 8 core processor

16GB installed RAM

64-bit operating system
