Video footage for use with Premiere Pro tutorials?

Hello,

I'm about to delve into the Premiere Pro tutorials starting at the most basic level and wondering if there ia a repository of support footage that's designed for use with the Adobe PP tutorials, much as there are for FCP? I've looked via Google search and here as well but I'm so far coming up empty.

Thanks in advance!

Mario

Any time that you're working in Premiere Pro, just click the "Learn" button from the Home Screen or use the "Learn" workspace.

Or, use this link:

https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/tutorials.html

Lynda.com is now LinkedInLearning.com.  It's subscription based, but there is a good chance that your local library provides full access.  For example, I can access it in Los Angeles by going to the lapl.org web site, clicking the e-media llink and then clicking the Lynda.com link.  From there, my Los Angeles Public Library card number gets me full access.

For self-guided learning, the Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book is also pretty good:

Thanks everyone for all the good info!!  I've got my feet moist in it now and expect them to be fairly wet by tomorrow. From there, it's just a trip up that slippery curve, but I like slippery curves 😉 Thanks!!!

unfortunately, this type thing is probably best to learn from the ground up...

It costs money and I have no clue how it works nowadays. A long time ago you could buy disks but now I think it's all online. However, they should have links to download the 'media' related to the lessons.

Good luck.

If you want to just get MATERIAL to use ( not related to specific lessons ) so you can drop stuff on timelines etc... then maybe download the davinci resolve source files that are related to their manuals ( editing, grading, etc. ).  Most of them are 720p and some 1080p mov h264 stuff... so it will work OK on your NLE.

🙂

The sample files for davinci are fairly good ( not skate boards and go pro stuff ).. like this tutorial I did last year.
