Video Freezes in playback monitor

I recently did a full system software installation. I've downloaded the latest version of Premiere (23.6) and now the video freezes on my output monitor. It starts playing fine and freezes after a minute or so. I'm using Blackmagic Design UtraStudio Monitor 3G. I've tested it on other applications which ouput the same way and they all work fine. I've been editing with this same setup for years and never had an issue.

The only way to fix the issue is to close the sequence and reopen it, although sometimes that doesn't work and I have to reopen the project.

Premiere Ver. 23.6

iMac

4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core I7

Graphics Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

64 GB RAM

Ventura 13.6

Hi there!

Sorry about the issue. Could you try to copy your project and paste it into a fresh new one? Have you already tried resetting preferences and deleting media cache files

Let us know.

Thanks,
KR

Resetting preferences back to factory did the trick. I had to rebuild all of my preferences from scratch, but not a big deal.

Thanks for the help
