video resolution

Hi!
I'm need to edit a video that will be shown on a 2560X1024 screen, and I'm not sure now in which resolution should I edit it. is full HD be ok?

I would also suggest 2560 X 1024.

If any of the effects require the sequence to match the media, nest and apply the effects to the nests.

I would edit at 2560x1024, what is your source footage resolution?
