Video stabilisation missing since Premiere update

Hi Community,

I have an issue since I updated Adobe Premiere Pro (CC) to the newest version. When I open my project the message appears "Videofilter fehlt: Verkrümmungsstabilisierung" (Video filter missing: Stabilisation).

In my project I have stabilized footage, that might be the refrence.

When I now want to stabilize new clips the effect (in german Verkrümmungsstabilisierung) can not be found any more.

Can anyone tell me what happend?

Was the stabilization done with Warp Stabilizer or with a third party plugin?

If a third party plugin, you may need to reinstall it.

Hi, thanks for your reply 🙂 It is indeed the Warp Stabilizer that is now missing. Is there a way I can reinstall that?

Jan, that is strange!

In the Effects panel, look in Video Effects -> Distort. Warp Stabilizer should still be there. Leave the search field empty, or type just the first few letters to filter the list of effects.

I wonder if you might have used a plug-in in the earlier project?
